— Designed Around You
Workspaces Designed Around How You Work
A home office should do more than fit a desk into a spare room. The best workspaces are designed around how you actually work, what you need close to hand and how the room fits into the wider home.
At Luxx, every office and study is developed around the proportions of the space, your working habits and the visual character of the interior. Desks, cabinetry, shelving, concealed storage and display areas can all be designed as one coordinated scheme.
Whether the room is dedicated entirely to work or needs to serve more than one purpose, the furniture is made to measure so the finished space feels intentional rather than improvised.

— Our Process
From Working Requirements to Finished Workspace
Every home office project begins by understanding what the room needs to support. We consider your working routine, equipment, storage, lighting and the wider interior before developing furniture around the space.
Consultation & Survey
We discuss how you use the room, what needs to be stored or displayed and how the workspace should feel before accurately surveying the space.
Design & Visualisation
We develop the layout, desk position, storage, shelving and finishes, using detailed design and visualisation to establish the proposed workspace before manufacture.
Manufacture
Once approved, your office furniture is manufactured through our Hertfordshire workshop with close attention to dimensions, materials, construction and finishing.
Installation
Our team carefully installs the cabinetry and fitted furniture within your home, ensuring the workspace is aligned, practical and finished to the intended standard.
— why luxx
Why Choose Luxx for a Bespoke Home Office?
A productive workspace needs to work practically while still feeling like part of your home. Our bespoke approach allows the furniture, storage and proportions to be designed around both requirements at the same time.
01
Designed Around Your Working Day
Desk dimensions, storage, shelving and equipment positions are developed around the way you work rather than a generic office furniture layout.
02
Made Locally in Hertfordshire
Your fitted office furniture is manufactured through our Hertfordshire workshop, giving us close control over dimensions, quality and detailing.
03
Designed as Part of the Interior
Materials, colours and proportions can be considered alongside the wider room, helping the office feel integrated with your home rather than separate from it.
— Designed Around You
A Workspace That Feels Like Part of the Home
Working from home has changed the role of many rooms. A spare bedroom may need to function as an office during the week, a study may also house a library, or a living area may require a discreet workspace that can be visually integrated when it is not being used.
Bespoke furniture makes these compromises easier to resolve. Desks can be proportioned to fit the available wall space, shelving can be built around architectural features and storage can be arranged around documents, equipment and everyday working essentials rather than standard cabinet dimensions.
The visual side of the workspace is equally important. Timber, veneer, painted finishes, metal details and carefully considered proportions can help the office relate naturally to the rest of the property. Cable management, concealed storage and integrated details can also be incorporated to keep the finished room feeling clean and organised.
